Rock climbing is an exhilarating sport and our beginner climbing course is a great way for you to get started. The “Outdoor Rock Intro” beginner rock climbing course is designed for those who have never climbed before or who have done some basic climbing either in the gym or outdoors. In this outdoor rock climbing course for beginners, you will learn foundational climbing movement skills and top rope techniques for rock climbing outdoors

During this course, we won’t just take you climbing: we will introduce you to the mechanics of the top-rope system, teach you how to belay, and help you develop the fundamentals you need to be a responsible and knowledgeable climber.

From gym to rock (for 1 or max 3 persons)

The perfect course for gym climbers looking to start climbing on real rock.
Do you climb regularly in your local gym but have yet to venture outdoors? Do you know a lot more about foot placement or conditioning than about knots or anchors?
We can help you make the transition from gym to rock with our From Gym to Rock course.
In the From Gym to Rock course we will introduce you to important factors for climbing outdoors as well as the differences between climbing indoors and outdoors
Climbing safely outdoors requires an intimate understanding of the entire belay system, a strong background in knots, and an awareness of a few extra hazards, in addition to new techniques, such as finding holds, scouting a route, and figuring out where to rest.
Just because you’ve never been outdoors does not mean that you must take the Introduction to Rock Climbing course, and just because you lead climb indoors does not necessarily mean you’re ready to do technical leading outdoors.

Requirements for this couse:
    • Climbers with basic skills from the gym
    • Climbers with some outdoor top-rope climbing experience
    • Climbers with some indoor lead climbing experience
    • Climbers who want to become independent outdoor sport climbers
